Students will learn about renewable energy, harvesting water, addressing pollution, recycling and degradable plastic. The students will attend the lecture and will be encouraged to think about possible improvements they could make to the ecology, manufacturing, mindfulness about resources in their environment or at a more global level. They will then be given a week to prepare and propose their solutions the following week. We will hold a discussion based on their proposals, learn to listen and respect each other's thoughts and ideas. This course is designed to raise awareness and inspire the new generation to work towards a more sustainable future for our planet.
